Identification of immune system parameters in patients with multiple sclerosis

The goal of this project is to study immunological parameters in samples of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients and healthy controls. By investigating cells and molecules of the immune response in blood an cerebrospinal fluid (liquor/CSF) inflammatory processes occurring in patients with MS can be better understood. This can contribute to the unraveling of the disease process and result in the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
